One Week!

Hey guys! Today is officially one week until I am in the car and on my way to Florida to start my amazing journey. It is crazy to think that my countdown was in the hundreds and now it is only seven days away. Although my program is not starting until January 13th, my parents want to take advantage of this opportunity and make a trip out of taking me down.

We are leaving my house next Friday, January 3rd around five and then stopping late at night somewhere in Florida and then checking into the Beach Club that next morning. We are planning on doing Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights and Fantasmic that night! That next morning we are checking into the Polynesian and staying there the rest of my stay.

Then, on the 12th I will be meeting up with my lovely roommates at night for dinner and staying with one of them, so we can be at check in bright and early! If some of you don't know, at check in you get to find out your location of where you will be working, so I will be able to find that out, and let you guys know! We also get to go to casting and move into our apartment that day as well.

I should be getting a email to do my DORMS (Disney Housing) paperwork sometime this week, so I will talk to you guys then! Until then, have a magical day! See Ya' Real Soon!

See Ya' Real Soon!

Hey guys! Yesterday I started packing for my move to Florida and as I was packing I received this email and I started squealing inside. I am getting so excited for my move to Florida. Today is officially ten days until I pack my car up and leave for Florida.

Time was going so slow in the first couple months, but now it is going by so fast! I am starting to get everything situated and I will be getting on the road in a little less than two weeks! Who knew that time would go by so fast? I can't wait! See you guys real soon! :)

It's December!

Which means… it's officially a month until I move to Florida and my Disney College Program starts. I seriously cannot even put in words how excited I am for January!

I got back from school tuesday night and finished all my school work so I am officially free for winter break, but that really means it's time to get ready to move to Florida! All the packing and paperwork and fun stuff are ahead!

It still honestly hasn't hit me that I am moving to Walt Disney World in less than a month, I can't even phantom it right now.. like how is this possible? This has been my dream since I was a little kid, and I always knew I wanted to work in Disney ever since I stepped into the parks for the first time. It's just crazy because I have been dreaming about this since… forever and now it's finally coming true.

I am arriving to Disney on January 4th, and leaving my house January 3rd! We are checking into Beach Club on January 4th, and then we check into The Polynesian January 5th and will be staying there until I check in for my DCP on January 13th!

See you real soon!

Course Registration

Registering for Courses to take during the Disney College Program is very stressful I am not going to lie. I was actually not even sure if I wanted to take any classes till about a week ago. I then thought to myself that I would be stupid not to take advantage of the courses that Disney can offer to me. The Disney College Program Onboarding Website is a great place to decide if you want to take a Disney course. Their website says: "Part of what makes the Disney College Program experience so unique is the education component. While on your Program, you may take part in several educational experiences you won't find anywhere else!"

They have this really neat survey that you can take and they match you with the top courses that are recommended for you to take based on your personality. I knew that I wanted to take Exploring Guest Service and possibly Exploring Disney Heritage.
After a long night, I was registered for the class that I really wanted to take. I have heard so many good things about this course and I can't wait to take it!

Sunday night at around 11:30 P.M. I logged onto the website to get ready to register for classes, since they opened at midnight. After a couple of minutes of waiting and waiting after it hit 12:00 AM, we came to the conclusion that it wasn't going to open until Pacific Time. With this being said, I live in Eastern Time which means that I would have to wait until 3:00 AM my time, which would take forever. I decided to go to bed and I woke up at about 6:00 AM and I registered for my classes then. Thankfully, I got the class that I want. Unfortunately, Disney Heritage was only offered at 4-6 PM so I decided to not sign up for it.

Exploring Guest Service:  Discover why Hospitality is the hallmark of the Walt Disney World® Resort. Throughout our theme parks and resorts, we strive to satisfy and delight our Guests in the world’s most hospitable vacation destination.

I can't wait for this course to start!

Have a magical day, and feel free to contact me below!

How To Survive Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Since today is Halloween I felt that there is no better topic than Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! I was at the party a couple weeks ago, and this was not my first party I have been too, but I noticed that not many people come to the party prepared and run out of time! This post is to benefit everyone, and give you all tips to prep for your Halloween party!

  1. Buy Your Ticket In Advance. These tickets sell out fast, especially Passholder Discounted Halloween Parties! They also sell out much faster depending how close you are to Halloween, so don't miss out on getting your ticket.
  2. Dress Up..Even Adults! Everyone is in their festive costumes, so don't miss out on the chance to wear your favorite Halloween costume!
  3. Have a Plan. Know the characters you want to meet, the rides you want to ride, the fireworks and the parade times, and if you want to go trick or treating!
  4. Watch the Boo To You Parade. One of Disney's best parades, and you can ONLY see it at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Don't miss out. Your park map has the parade routes on it!
  5. Watch Hallowishes. Hallowishes is a phenomenal fireworks show, and you can only see it during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It is the one thing you do not want to miss!
  6. Look For The Headless Horseman. Yes, he is headless. He leads Mickey's Boo To You Parade, so make sure you get seats in time to see him!
  7. Ride the Haunted Mansion. The Haunted Mansion is decked out for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! And there is even a ghost sitting outside named Carlotta.
  8. Watch Madame Carlotta. She is the ghost sitting outside on a bench at the Haunted Mansion, she is so interactive.. and hilarious!
  9. Trick or Treat at the Trails There are a couple of Trick or Treat trails where you can get candy, take advantage of those because you can get multiple handfuls of candy at those!
  10. Meet the Villains and Rare Characters There are so many characters out like: Tarzan and Jane, Cruella, The Seven Dwarfs, Abu, and even the Prince's are with the Princesses at Princess Fairy Tale Hall. YES, Flynn is there... WITH HIS SATCHEL. You're welcome.
Here is my video I got of the Headless Horseman, sorry it is a bit blurry!

If you decided to go to Mickey's Not So Scary I hope you use these tips to make your life easier because there is so much to do at this party and just not enough time!
